Paula Sturge of Canton was recently inducted as a member of the Rotary Club of Potsdam. Sturge is the director of 3rd Party Payer Contracts and Reimbursement Analytics at St. Lawrence Health. Sturge graduated from Lowville Academy and Central School, attended SUNY Potsdam and SUNY Canton, and graduated with a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Clarkson University. Over the past 30 years, she has worked in the accounting field throughout the North Country in public accounting, banking, academia, and healthcare.
“I’m excited to serve as a member of Potsdam Rotary,” says Sturge. “I look forward to using my enthusiasm and cheerful disposition to uphold the Rotary motto of Service Above Self, alongside Rotarians throughout the world, to bring friendships, connections, and helping hands to those around us near and far. I hope that my experience and my leadership positions in the many varied industries in which I’ve worked will bring openness and assistance to the great things that the Potsdam Rotary does.”

Sturge lives outside the Village of Canton with her husband, Wayne, and her daughter, Amelia, who is an eighth grader at Canton Central School. Her stepson, Jeremy, has already started his family and brought a granddaughter into the family.
